Tuesday July 5th ~ After a full Irish Breakfast at ‘The Bunratty Castle Hotel’, we will check-out and head East to Dublin. On the way to Dublin we will stop at ‘The Rock of Cashel’.
The Rock of Cashel originally was the seat of the kings of Munster, according to legend St. Patrick himself came here to convert King Aenghus to Christianity. Brian Boru was crowned High King at Cashel in 978 and made it his capital.
In 1101 the site was granted to the church and Cashel swiftly rose to prominence as one of the most significant centers of ecclesiastical power in the country.
The surviving buildings are remarkable. Cormac’s Chapel, for example, contains the only surviving Romanesque frescoes in Ireland.We leave Cashel and head to our final hotel in Ireland. Tonight, we will stay at ‘The Royal Marine Hotel’. Dinner this evening will be with the best Irish Show in Ireland at ‘Taylor 3 Rocks’. Taylor’s 3 Rock’s is a extremely professional group of performers. A fitting Irish musical with old and new sounds to end our Irish Journey.  

Sunday July 3rd ~ After attending mass we will enjoy a full Irish breakfast and check-out of ‘The Westport Coast Hotel’.

We will journey South to the town of Cong. Cong is where ‘The Quiet Man’ was filmed. It is also home of the Cong Abbey. Anne will give you a verbal history of this quaint little town.

We travel a bit further South and stop in Galway. Your guide, Anne, will give directions to what to see. We will drop you off and pick you up in city center by Erie Square. You will have free time in Galway to enjoy the shops and pubs. Anne will direct you to ‘The King’s Head’ a great choice for lunch.

After rejoining our group we will visit ‘The Cliffs of Moher’.

One of Ireland’s favorite visitor experiences, the Cliffs of Moher tower over the rugged west Clare coast.  Walk the safe, paved pathways and view the famous Cliffs on Europe’s western frontier and enjoy the spectacular vistas over the Atlantic Ocean and the Aran Islands.   Their natural beauty has inspired artists, musicians, and poets for generations, as well as absorbing scientists and geologists, drawn by the unique landscape in which they sit.  The Cliffs of Moher, the most famous cliffs in Ireland. The Cliffs will leave you awestruck, creating memories that will stay with you forever.

Today’s final destination is Bunratty. Tonight, we will stay at ‘The Bunratty Castle Hotel’. 

This evening, we will feast at ‘The Bunratty Castle’ we will be serenaded and nourished at ‘The Medieval Banquet’

Saturday June 25th, 2022, ~ In the afternoon, We will meet some of our Group at the Philadelphia Airport or we will gather in Baltimore County to take a tour bus to the Philadelphia Airport. We will fly American Airlines overnight to Dublin Ireland.

Sunday June 26th, ~ We will land in Dublin at 8:55am. We will collect out luggage at the Dublin Airport and meet Thomas McGrath our driver. We will board Tom’s luxury coach and enjoy the lilt of his Irish brough.
We will attend mass at Saint Sylvester's in Malahide.   
After mass we will take advantage of landing on a Sunday and the lack of traffic to do a Coach tour of Dublin's Sights. A stop at Dublin’s McDonalds will give you a chance to get a coffee and use the toilet. We will stop for a private guided tour of Malahide Castle. Malahide has a connection to Maryland.
Generations of the Talbot family have called Malahide Castle home. Hear their stories, explore the private rooms and collections, and discover the central part this castle played in Irish political and social life on a guided tour. 
You will enjoy the castle and the walled gardens of Malahide! After a well appreciated stop at Malahide, we will cross the border into Northern Ireland. Our 1st hotel is ‘The Europa Hotel’ in Belfast. Dinner tonight will be at ‘The Europa Hotel’

Wednesday June 29th, ~ After a full Irish Breakfast at ‘The Holiday Inn Derry’ we will take a coach tour of “the Rebel Paintings”. Many buildings have art created by the Catholic public in Derry. After we will have a guided walking tour of the Wall of the maiden City. Dinner tonight will be at 'The Walled City Brewery'.   

Thursday June 30th, ~ After a full Irish Breakfast at ‘The Holiday Inn Derry’ we will cross the boarder back into ‘The Republic of Ireland’. We will travel Southwest to Donegal. In Donegal Town you will find some nice shops and some expensive stors. Be wise ask Anne to point out the shops that fill your personal needs.

After our stop in Donegal, we will witness the making of fine pottery at Belleek. Some of the world’s finest ceramic objects can be found at Belleek. You can watch artisans and purchase products to be shipped home. We will continue South and stop at Drumcliffe, County Sligo, to view Yeats Grave. Our destination this evening is ‘The Sligo Park Hotel’. Dinner will be at ‘The Fiddlers Creek Restaurant’.

Saturday July 2nd ~ After a Full Irish Breakfast at ‘The Westport Coast Hotel’ We will stop to shop for great bargains at ‘The Foxford Woolen Mills’ and then we are off to Turlough and ‘The Museum of Country Life’ You will get an image of how Catholics families lived in the recent pass. In the afternoon we will Stop at ‘Ballintubber Abbey’. Ballintubber Abbey is known as “The Church that wouldn’t die”. Mass has been said continuously at Ballintubber for over 700 years. When we leave the abbey, we will take a coach tour and sightsee Achill Island. Achill is one of the most beautiful locations in Ireland, make sure you bring your camera. On the way back to our hotel we will stop for dinner at ‘Nevins Inn’.

Wednesday July 6th ~ Our last morning in Ireland! After a full Irish breakfast we will check-out of our hotel and be taken directly to Dublin airport. We will say our goodbyes to Ireland and fly to the land of the brave and the home of the free. For those of us who took the coach to the Philadelphia Airport from Baltimore County, that same coach will meet you in Philly to take you back to your car where you were picked-up on June 25th. 

Tuesday June 28th, ~ After a full Irish Breakfast at the Europa Hotel, we will head northwest to the town of Bushmills. About 10 minutes outside Bushmills, we find the ‘Giants Causeway’. We will take some photographs of this unique national groupings of stone columns. We will leave the ‘Giants Causeway’ and drive to Derry. Our hotel in Derry is ‘The Holiday Inn Derry’. Dinner Tonight will be at at a local Derry Restaurant.

Malahide Castle

Monday June 27th, ~ After a full Irish Breakfast at the Europa Hotel, we will visit the ‘Titanic Belfast’. Titanic Belfast is a state-of-the-art museum on the sight where the Titanic was built. Unlike some other tour companies, we will not rush you. You can take your time and enjoy the full Titanic Belfast experience. Dinner tonight will be at a local Belfast restaurant. 

Monday July 4th ~ After a full Irish Breakfast at ‘The Bunratty Castle Hotel’, the day is yours to explore ‘Bunratty Castle and The Bunratty Folk Park’. A person could spend days wandering through this authentic re-creation of an early Irish town. The Bunratty Folk Park is staffed by knowledgeable craftspeople in each shop and even a fully licensed pub.
This evening we will have dinner at ‘Durty Nellies Pub’. At Durty Nellies we will raise our glasses to toast the USA and those brave members of our military that made us members of ‘The home of the free’.

Friday July 1st ~ After a Full Irish Breakfast at ‘The Sligo Park Hotel’ we will check out and Head South to County Mayo. We will stop and say a  prayer at ‘The Holy Shrine of Knock’ a National Marian shrine and pilgrimage center with a museum about the apparition of 1879. About 5 miles west is Boland’s Bar an example of a real Irish Pub. Boland’s has been in Patrick’s family for over 100 years. God willing, our cousin Seamus will be behind the bar when we stop for a bit of nourishment.
The stop at this unpretentious pub has been one of the most enjoyed additions to all our tours over the years.
Tonight we will stay in Westport on the coast of Clew Bay at ‘The Westport Coast Hotel’.  Dinner this evening will be at ‘The Westport Coast Hotel’.
