Tuesday night's entertainment
Day 9: Sunday, -after a full Irish breakfast, about 10am, we will board our coach and to visit Kinsale. The battle of Kinsale was the ultimate battle in England's conquest of Gaelic Ireland, commencing in October 1601, near the end of the reign of Queen Elizabeth I, and at the climax of the Nine Years War campaign by the O’Neills and O’Donnells and other Irish lords against English rule. In this century the bloodshed is but a distance memory. The battle of Kinsale has been replaced with a pleasant harbor view with: Shops, Bistros and Pubs. We will enjoy a stroll in Kinsale and maybe stop for a pint of Murphy’s. Then it’s back on the coach, we’re going to Cobh. The Titanic’s last stop was Cobh! A statue of Annie Moore and her two brothers stand silently on the dock. An exact replica is in the New York Harbor. The song “Isle Of Hope Isle Of Tears” is about Annie Moore. Sample Annie Moore song and the history by playing the YouTube clip to the left. We will visit the 'The Cobh Heritage Center'. If your family emigrated from Ireland, they most likely left from Cobh. We will return to The Blarney Hotel Golf and Spa Resort for Dinner.
Day 10: Monday, -after a full Irish Breakfast we will check out of The Blarney Hotel Golf and Spa Resort and be off to Dublin. On the way we will stop in Kilkenny and tour the Smithwick’s Brewery, Ireland’s premier ale. Then we are off to Avoca. Avoca is home to the world renown Avoca Woolen Mills A.K.A. 'Avoca Handweavers' establish 1723. Some of our travelers have said Avoca is more stylish than other mills. Avoca is also where the BBC filmed Ballykissangel the popular PBS TV show about Irish life. While in Avoca you'll have time to be a patron at Fitzgerald's Pub. When we get to Dublin, We'll take a drive around the city center to see some of the important public buildings such as Trinity College, the General Post Office, St. Patrick’s Cathedral and Dublin Castle. We will say goodbye to our coach and driver today. Tonight we stay at "The Gresham Hotel"! Our dinner tonight is in Temple Bar at a real urban Irish Pub. Tonight it's 'Pub Grub' at 'Bad Bobs' in Temple Bar.
Day 11: Tuesday, -after a full Irish Breakfast at The Gresham Hotel, You'll go to Jail! We will tour Kilmainham Gaol (Jail). After experiencing the Jail we'll Tour Guinness and have a free pint on the top floor of the Guinness Brewery. The rest of your day is free to explore this beautiful capital city. Tonight we will meet at our Hotel lobby, We are going to attend "Taylors 3 Rocks" the best Irish Show in Ireland. See a YouTube clip of the show by clicking on the image to the left. Day 12: Wednesday, -after full Irish Breakfast at The Gresham Hotel, we will take the train south to Bray. The train licks the coast line and supports beautiful views of the Irish Sea. In Bray you can slip your shoes off and dip your toes in 'The Irish Sea'! We will stop in the Hibernian Pub and say hello to Philip the owner (Publican). We will return to (our 4 or 5 Star) hotel we’ll gather in the lobby. Tonight we are going to a Hooley and Dinner at ‘The Merry Ploughboy" famed as “The Only Pub Owned by Musicians in Ireland”
Day 13: Thursday, -after a full Irish Breakfast at The Gresham Hotel, You will have very little time for a bit of last minute shopping before heading to the airport. Our flight leaves Dublin at 12:25pm, we need to be checked in 2hr. before the flight. Our flight lands in Dulles at 3:20pm. We will supply you with transportation from the hotel to Dublin Airport. This afternoon we will fly home to the land of the free and the home of the brave. We will take with us a hundred thousand memories that will last a lifetime.
Day five: Wednesday, -early this afternoon after a well needed sleep-in and a Full Irish Breakfast! We are going to the award winning town of Westport. We will stop in the picturequest town of Westport to explore! You will enjoy the many quaint shops and pubs. There are specialty shops on every street and down every alley! The pubs are meeting places that have inspired poets and musicians for centuries. A visit to Matt Molloy's Bar is a must! Matt Molloy won several 'Grammy's' playing the flute with the 'The Chieftains'. After We'll leave for Achill Island. We will enjoy a driven tour of Achill Island. We'll stop on Atlantic Drive for a photo opp. Then drive to Keel where we will enjoy Dinner at the Achill Cliff House. Dinner at the Achill Cliff House is Included.

Day 3: Monday, -After a well needed sleep-in and a Full Irish Breakfast! We are off to Tour 'The Donegal Town'. We"ll stop for a tour tour and shop at the Belleek Pottery Factory. It's interesting to watch their master craftsmen produce this artwork. Belleek has a showroom where they offer their products at a discount. Then we are off to Donegal Town. We will Pub Hop & Shop on the Diamond in Donegal town. One of the finest clothing
stores in all of Ireland is Magee's. Magee's flagship is on the Diamond in Donegal Town. We'll return to Sligo for dinner at our hotel.
Day 4: Tuesday, -After a Full Irish Breakfast we will check out of our hotel. Our destination is Swinford in County Mayo. On the way will stop at the "Foxford Woolen Mills" for a bit of shopping. A must for those of us with an interest in Irish living conditions is ‘The Museum of Country Life’. It’s nearby in Castlebar. With exhibitions spread over four floors, you’ll see how the people of rural Ireland lived in the hundred years between the Great Famine and the end of the 1950s. Dinner tonight is at our hotel and is included. We will check into the Gateway Hotel. The Gateway is a small country bouquet hotel. It’s close to Westport, and Castlebar, and most importantly it around the corner from a real Irish pub, Boland’s Bar. Your tour guide will buy you your first pint at Boland’s.

Day 2: Sunday, -We'll arrive in Dublin we'll arrive at Dublin airport at 10:25 am local time. After collecting our luggage and clearing customs, we will board our 1st class coach and go to Newgrange. Newgrange is an monument that dates back 3,000 years before the Pyramids'. We will have Coffee and Breakfast at Newgrange. After our visit we will head west to Sligo. We will check into The Sligo City Hotel. Dinner tonight will be at our hotel.

Our answer to, "What is a
full Irish breakfast?"
Day 1: Saturday, June 17, 2017 -Depart for Ireland! We take a private luxury coach from Baltimore to Dulles Airport. At 10:25 pm we'll board our Direct Non-stop Flight to Ireland at Dulles Airport. Our overnight destination is Dublin, Ireland.
Day 6: Thursday, -after a full Irish breakfast we’ll check out of the Gateway Hotel and head south to Cong (We’ll Leave the hotel about 9:00am). In Neale you will view from the coach, Ireland’s only pyramid. It was built in the eighteenth century by the first Baron of Kilmaine, John Brown! It was built to remember his dog or his brother Sir. George (there is still speculation if he built it for his dog or his brother!). (We’ll arrive in Cong about 10:00am) Cong is the village where John Wayne starred in ‘The Quiet Man’. We’ll take about a half hour and do a walking tour of Cong. (We’ll leave Cong at 11:00am) Then it’s off to Galway. With Thursday’s traffic we’ll arrive in Galway about 12:30pm in time for a late lunch and some sightseeing by foot. (We’ll visit Galway for about an Hour and a half.) We’ll leave Galway about 2:00pm we will travel through Gort to avoid the traffic in the Burren. We’ll arrive at the ‘Cliffs of Moher’ between 3:30 and 4pm. With the proper mix of the wind and the sea, you will witness breath taking views of Mother Nature from 702 feet above the sea. Mother Nature will decide how long we stay at the cliffs! Today’s final destination is an hour away. We arrive at ‘The Radisson Blu Hotel’. You’ll have time to check-in and freshen up before the 7:00pm Dinner and a Show! Tonight you will go up the road to the ‘Bunratty Folk Park’. You will experience the magic of Irish traditional music, song and dance at the Traditional Irish Night in the Corn-Barn at Bunratty Folk Park. After dinner and the show it’s off to Durty Nelly’s it’s time to buy a pint for your guide. If each adult pitches in 5p it won’t hurt too much!
Day 7: Friday, -after a full Irish breakfast you will be free to enjoy all that Bunratty offers. Across from the Bunratty Castle is 'The Buttery' a nice pub to have lunch. Next to the Buttery is an outlet for the Blarney Woolen Mills (look but don’t buy, we are there Tomorrow!) and of course entrance to the Bunratty Folk Park is included
